17th - 18 th C SPANISH TABLE WITH BRAZIER

Very rare Spanish table model (Castile). It is oval with flaps, and in a beautiful walnut. Its originality lies in the brazier included in the crosspiece. Indeed, Castile is a very cold region in winter and with a thick tablecloth and the brazier we could keep our feet warm. Personally I knew of the existence of these tables but I had never found one. Another originality is that under the top there is a very long through drawer which can be pulled out from one side or the other. The whole is in good condition. It has undoubtedly been restored several times during its long life.
